Aer Lingus look to recoup losses by leasing aircraft

Aer Lingus are considering leasing their aircraft to North American and Australian airlines at quieter times of the year. A number of planes remain in Dublin airport hangers during the off seasons and to address the reported losses for the last financial year, Aer Lingus see this as a possible new revenue stream. It also falls within the new policy of the airline to reduce costs and try to increase lateral funds sources. Aer Lingus have recently launched a number of affiliate partnerships in Ireland and may well be looking to expand this to other countries they service throughout Europe and the U.S
