A full high court hearing will proceed after a judge in Belfast courts ruled that there is a case for the plaintiffs. Last December, the environment minister, Edwin Poots, increased the maximum number of passengers permitted through Belfast City airport. However lawyers representing Belfast International Airport argue that this was unlawful, due to the permitted noise levels and the increase in the nosie levels due to the higher number of passengers. This case is scheduled for June.
