Ryanair has reportedly rejected an offer from the DAA to give discounts on airport charges, provided the airline guaranteed higher passenger numbers. The DAA had apparently offered discounts of €50m, later increased to €60m, provided the low-cost carrier brought an extra 4 million passengers to Dublin Airport over 5 years. Reports claim Ryanair was holding out for €100m.
