Ryanair increases summer baggage charges

Increased baggage charges
Budget airline Ryanair is increasing its charges for hold baggage for the summer months in 2010.

Coming on the back of suggestions for a range of controversial charges such as fees to use toilets and a so-called 'fat tax' for passengers that require larger seats, the low-cost carrier will add an extra £5/€5 per item of checked-in luggage in July and August 2010.

The airline is one of the few in the industry to be weathering the economic storm well, predicting a full-year profit in excess of that announced only recently.

Wherever you're taking a no-frills flight from this summer, make sure you counter these charges by booking cheap airport parking at Dublin or any other airport!
