Service was good, but the instructions on the internet were not that clear about payment because I stayed a night in Premier Inn where the parking was free until I checked out and my parksmart payment was only necessary for the days after I checked out and while I was on holiday........ It was unclear if I would have to come back out of the car park after check out and then go back in again so that my car park ticket would only be for the subseqent days when I was away on holiday. Generally people use a car park and travel the same day. Only after phoning the Premier Inn was it clear how the parking worked.... i.e. book Parksmart for the parking required after the period of free parking for Premier Inn residents. Only one ticket is required when entering the car park and this is used for validation by the Premier Inn on return from holiday, where they allow for the free day of parking while I was resident at the Premier Inn. now that I know the system, I would consider using this again, although I may stay at the Travel Lodge parking as it more competitively priced.

Hello Julian,
ParkSmart.ie is a website dedicated entirely to car parking reservations and not to hotel accommodation. We have a separate sister website, Stayandfly.ie, which is for parking with an inclusive night's accommodation and this latter site does include the Premier Inn, but not Travelodge at this time. In all cases the tariffs and procedures for parking are set by the hotel/car park and not by the website business which acts as a comparison website and booking agent for the car parks and hotels advertised there.
If you made your booking for parking on line, the system is not linked into the hotel booking system, and so the "free parking" night cannot be taken into account. The system will cost for the days booked by customers. ParkSmart forwards all bookings for parking and for parking with accommodation booked on our websites to the individual car park/hotel concerned but we are not notified by the hotels if one of our customers has booked accommodation with them. The information provided on the website and in booking confirmations is comprehensive and as clear as we can make it, although we are open to suggestions for improvement. It is, however, impossible to cover all eventualities as too much information can actually be confusing and counter-productive.
