We were happy enough with our parking. We found out when picking up the car that we were actually parked in the bus bay, but we had no way of knowing that as the whole car park was covered in snow and ice.
And here I must admit that I was shocked at the condition the car park was in, absolutely deadly. I can't understand how a hotel can justify conditions like that for guests arriving with heavy luggage etc. I have never seen anything like it. Where I come from, Denmark, no hotel management with respect for itself would allow conditions like that in their car park even though that means getting rid of a lot more ice and snow.

Hello Lisbeth and thank you for your comments. We are very sorry that you were shocked by the conditions in the car park. Unfortunately the weather over Christmas was a lot more severe than is normal in this country and many organisations and councils were caught out with inadequate counter measures in place, and we have forwarded your comments on to the Cork International Hotel management, in case there's a next time!
